During my spring break I spent my time rewatching the Star Wars movies, rewatching The Vampire Diaries, and listening to Taylor Swift. In light of Taylor Swift's new tour I watched “Miss Americana.” It was an excellent documentary that told the life of singer/songwriter Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift has reinvented herself and her music so many times. Taylor Swift means the world to me and has been my favorite artist since I was two years old. She started her music career at age 15 in Tennessee when she released “Tim Mcgraw” it became number sixty on the charts. She soon released her first debut album in 2006 under the country genre. Then came Fearless and Speak Now as country albums; at the time of her fourth album, she changed her genre to pop and released: Red and 1989. Things took an unexpected turn when Kanye West started to spread rumors about her; society canceled her and started the hashtag #Taylorisoverparty. People thought this was the end of her, but they were wrong.
She took a three-year break and then returned stronger; she released her reputation under the electropop genre. The entire album stemmed from the theme that her importance can not be tarnished or destroyed. She briefly returned to pop and released Lover, then released two folk albums: Folklore and Evermore. She recently released another pop album, Midnights, and was declared the pop queen.
