The fifth person I chose was my very dear friend Jouvana. When I was younger, I was part of a group of girls that were not open to the idea of new girls. When a new girl tried joining our group the other girls made her very uncomfortable, and I did nothing. After a few months, I left the group and became best friends with Jouvana. Even though Jouvana forgave me, it was very hard to forgive myself.
The fourth person I chose was my sister Lauren, my sister misplaced one of my books. I lent Lauren my copy of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and she accidentally threw it in the garbage on garbage day. After a while, I forgave her because forgiveness is important. She is still my sister and I still care about her. Forgiveness is important in a relationship.
The third person I chose was my childhood friend, Pablo, who was one of my closest friends. Pablo and I were great friends when we were younger, and we used to talk a lot. Sadly, life brought us apart and we did not talk at all. Lucky after time we reconnected and became friends again. This taught me to never take your friendship for granted.
The second person I chose is my little cousin Grace who I love very much.
Grace can be absolutely insane sometimes, but I will always love and care for her. I remember when she was born while I was at volleyball practice, and when I was done my dad told me about her. I was in love with Grace since before she was born and I will always cherish her. The first person I chose is my little cousin Giulianna, and the unfortunate circumstance I helped her through was when my grandfather passed away. My cousin Giulianna was always the closest to him, for she lived with him. He was in the hospital for a long time until he passed due to Covid. That night I went over to Giulianna’s house and took her to the basement to distract her. She tried to act like everything was fine until she broke and cried in my arms; it was hard to stay strong for her, but at that moment, I knew she needed me to be strong.
